ABC Young Performer of the Year and Fine Music’s 2014 Kruger Award Winner, Nick Russoniello, has been making waves on the music scene! His debut CD release with the Acacia Quartet, ‘Between Worlds’ was both Limelight Magazine Editor’s Choice and ABC Classic FM’s CD of the week for ‘On the Verandah”. This light and youthful program features Mozart’s delightful ‘Lodi’ String Quartet (written when he was only 14), arrangements of Chick Corea’s energetic Children Songs and some favourite gems by Australia’s own Elena Kats-Chernin

Musical Notebooks intertwines six original keyboard works from Johan Sebastian Bach’s ‘Anna Magdalena Notebook’ (the second collection of compositions given to his wife in 1725 as a present), with six miniatures of the same name composed by Elena Kats-Chernin for string quartet. Gerard Willems returns to St Jude’s with the magnificent Vallee d’Obermann by Liszt and joins the Acacia Quartet for Schumann’s romantic Piano Quintet.
